Gastric LAP-BAND^® procedure gave me back my energy & stamina to play & look after my grandson. It’s great to go shopping for clothes now & I enjoy the self confidence that having control over your weight gives you. 

I enjoy a lot of activities that I haven't done since I was younger/thinner including walking & swimming.

When you set a forty year plan with your husband to get the most out of your next stage of life only to be told that I wouldn't be around in 20 years time, I knew that I had to do something. For me, lapband surgery was an extreme measure to take & I was reluctant to have it done, but after talking to Dr Reza Adib I was certain that I needed to do something serious about my situation & do it soon. After talking with my family & my GP about undergoing this life changing surgery I knew that it was the right thing to do. Within two months I had my surgery & since then I have never looked back. Dr Adib had a great support team of dieticians & psychologists who prepared me & supported me throughout the entire process.

People need to realise that they too can get the same results as I have had simply by having the dedication & want that I did. I highly recommend the procedure as long as you are willing to make it work.
