I had my LAP-BAND^® procedure in June 2006 & it has been the greatest decision I have made in my life.  When I went into hospital I weighed 165kgs now four years later I am down to 109.8kgs ad still losing weight.  Nearly all my life I have been over weight, I was aware & conscious of what it was doing to my health & the possibility of shortening my life span.  I went through all of the teasing & name calling at school & into my adult life where it came to a point I did not want to go out & socialise with other people & even family. 

To put on a pair of shoes & socks was an effort plus any sort of any physical work would have me huffing & puffing.  My doctor recommended that I look into the options of what lapband surgery could do for me & gave me a referral to go & see Dr Reza Adib.  That was the day my life turned around &  changed for the better.  Dr Adib explained everything to me about the surgery the hopeful outcome & the minimal risk involved. 

Now I feel as though I could live forever I have more of a social life. I can go & buy clothes off the rack & I can still have the food I like but I have far smaller portions & still feel satisfied. 

It is a pleasure to go back to Dr Adib’s rooms for follow up assessments.  You are greeted with a lovely warm smile & greeting from the receptionists & a friendly hand shake from Dr Adib & you are now part of the family.

People need to realise that they too can get the same results as I have had simply by having the dedication & want that I did. I highly recommend the procedure as long as you are willing to make it work.
