To ensure your consultation with Brisbane Obesity Clinic runs smoothly, please have the following prepared:

• A referral from your General Practitioner
• A completed Registration Form (This will be sent to you by our administration team)
• Your Medicare or Department of Veterans’ Affairs card
• Any relevant medical documents, such as scans, X-rays, blood test results, or previous specialist letters (if available)

We offer flexible consultation types to suit your needs:

• In-room consultations
• Zoom consultations
• Telehealth appointments

Initial Consultations are BULK BILLED for patients with a Medicare card and a valid Referral

If you are unable to obtain a referral in time for your appointment or you do not have a Medicare Card, the consultation fee is $200 which is payable at the time of your appointment.  

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact our office during business hours.
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice, allowing us to offer the appointment to another patient on our waiting list.
