Consultations & Procedure
Eligibility for general surgery is assessed on an individual basis. Suitability for treatment depends on the type of procedure required, your overall health, medical history, and any existing health conditions.
A comprehensive consultation and clinical assessment are required to determine the most appropriate treatment options for your individual circumstances.
The fee for a General Surgery consultation is $200, payable at the time of your appointment. Patients with a valid GP referral may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
Depending on the procedure and your individual circumstances, surgery may be performed as a day procedure or may require an overnight hospital stay. Treatment recommendations and hospital requirements will be discussed during your consultation following a comprehensive clinical assessment.
Our team will provide detailed information regarding the recommended procedure, expected recovery, associated costs, and any hospital arrangements to help you make an informed decision about your care.
Consultation fees, Medicare rebates, and treatment costs are subject to change and may vary based on individual circumstances.
